I have been a midwife for fourteen years. I have a strong belief in the normal physiological processes of pregnancy and birth and will protect this with you, if you need an elective caesarean I will support you through this too.

I find great joy and satisfaction in assisting families on the journey to welcome their new baby into the world. My midwifery philosophy values education, discussion, kindness, partnership, respect and support for your choices with a strong focus on empowering women to birth in the way that is best for them. Pregnancy and the birth of a baby are life changing experiences.

There are lots of new, exciting and challenging moments for women and families during this time. I will provide information and educational resources for you to make informed and clinically safe choices and decisions throughout your pregnancy, labour, birth and postnatal period. I am very passionate about midwifery and supporting the physiological journey of pregnancy, childbirth, and the transition to parenthood. As your midwife, I will provide holistic, individualised care throughout your journey from conception, up until four to six weeks after the birth of your pepi.

As a midwife, I aim to develop meaningful and professional relationships with the women that I care for. I do this through shared decision-making, encouragement and mutual trust. During this wonderful journey, it is my role to provide you with thorough and up-to-date information to empower you to make informed decisions regarding your health and the health of your baby.
