Party Houses

Just returned home from a week staying here. We chose this holiday cottage due to the added amenities of a hot tub, outdoor cinema and pizza oven. The house is in a lovely secluded location surrounded by fields and mountains. The house is finished to a high standard and has a lot of space downstairs. The rooms are lovely but quite small and none of the 7 rooms had wardrobes so we all had to live out of suitcases for a week.

Chose Conwy as a good base for zip world and wanted to stay somewhere central for bars and restaurants and the Townhouse is perfect. Samantha was really helpful with recommendations.

Oakwood House

A property was booked in Mid Wales 21 minutes ago. Thank you for showing interest. We haven't quite finished building this feature but please check back soon for updates. We had a family weekend away and this was the perfect place for everyone, we had ages from 3 months up to 87 years old! The pool table was brilliant, as well as the large lounge area Just wish they would of been a heater in there for the cooler evenings, there was 2 fans but only blew out cold air. The kitchen was great and very well stocked with various pots and pans etc. We we all very happy :. Plenty of parking spaces for 6 cars on the driveway. The Aga was interesting, never used one before but soon got the hang of it. Plenty of bathrooms with baths and showers.

Thomas Carlyle was a social critic and historian born in Ecclefechan, Dumfriesshire, Scotland, December 4, , the same year as John Keats, but Carlyle is considered an early Victorian rather than a Romantic. After completing his elementary studies, he went to the University of Edinburgh but left in without a degree. His parents wanted him to become a minister in the Scottish church, but his independence of spirit made such a life program impossible.

Newport, the quiet hero of Pembrokeshire

The hilarious memoir of Britain's best-loved, highly successful comedy writer Eddie Braben, whose scripts for Morecambe and Wise catapulted the incomparable duo to stardom. The key figure behind the success of Eric Morecambe and Ernie Wise, scriptwriter Eddie Braben has written his autobiography - with the inimitable, timeless humour, warmth and affection for Eric and Ernie of that wonderful bygone era which made their classic sketches so successful. From Liverpool to London and on to Snowdonia, Braben peppers his story with wonderful anecdotes about the original straight man and his amiable sidekick. The Book What I Wrote is as much a unique biography of the charismatic Eric and Ernie as it is an autobiography of the man on whose gags their success was made.

Jude Rogers. Imagine a perfect coastal village tucked away from the world. If only it was also a great place for food-lovers, beach-lovers and local historians, with plenty of options for eating, bedding down and exploring, despite its small size. Perhaps it could work for both couples and families, solo travellers and big groups too…but all these dreams squeezed together make such a utopia a dream. Nevertheless, plenty goes on behind those doors, more than you would expect. Inside, under a ceiling hung with bicycles, it certainly does.
